Q: Are you family owned?
A: Yes we are. We are a family owned and operated community. Our Executive Director, Jan
Smith has been involved in the senior healthcare industry for many years. She lives in Carroll County and enjoys
making Fairview Place a part of the community.
Q: How long have you been in operation?
A: The facility was constructed in 2001. The current owners bought the facility
in August of 2011. The owners have been involved in the Kentucky health care field for 30+ years.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Yes, we are pet friendly community.
Q: What assistance can you provide for your clients?
A: We can provide assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting and other activities of daily living.
Q: Can you provide
assistance with medication management?
A: Yes we can
provide assistance with self administration of medications.
Q: What services can you assist in coordinating?
A: We can assist in coordinating in-house rehab services such as physical therapy, occupational
therapy and speech therapy.
Q: My mom has dementia, can you help her with prompts?
A: Yes, we can provide prompting and assistance with dementia and other related illnesses.
Q: What are some
of the services you provide?
A: 24 hour staffing, three
delicious daily meals plus snacks, daily housekeeping, daily activities, emergency call pendant for every client as well as
call buttons in every apartment, transportation, utilities including electric, gas and water. We have in-house laundering
services provided by the staff and clients also have their own access to laundry machines.
Q: Do you have
different apartments available and if so how many square feet are they are they?
A: Yes, we have 6 different sized apartments: studio, deluxe studio, one bedroom,
deluxe one bedroom and two bedroom and a deluxe two bedroom. Please refer to our apartment/suite page to access
Q: What are your monthly rates for apartments?
A: We have a variety of room accommodations with varying prices. We encourage
you to stop in so that we can show you the different rooms and each pertaining rate.
Q: Is it expensive to live in a assisted living community and does insurance pay?
A: Our rates are very affordable and there is assistance out there to those
who qualify. Many Veterans can qualify for the V.A. Aid and Attendance program, many long term care insurance policies
cover assisted living costs and there are several companies that will work with you on fiancial issues. We can usually
come up with a plan to help you. Just give us a call to see what options are available.
